We take the simplicity of our touch screen kiosk experience and build assistive structures for mobile users. Public DataWeb provide WiFi content services that are individually tailored for each application and its location.
Many cities are aware of the need to provide a modern digital infrastructure with Internet access: known as Municipal Wireless. We take this concept the 'extra mile' grouping services together, adding a graphical interface, and continuously updating the services and information to be current, live and always accurate. Importantly our services are instantly accessible, even on small mobile screens. City-wide Wireless MESH systems can be greatly enhanced for usability and content management by providing our services as the entrance portal to any cities wireless network.
Hot spot operators can also benefit by upgrading their services by installing the Public DataWeb system as a single point or a network as both the hardware infrastructure and the applications can be customised to suit 'their' location and application requirements. The city service is always available, and when the public enter a location, a specific place or venue; the front menu changes to promote or inform that individual locations message, be it informative or part of a marketing and sales profile.

by creation of special content groups of services, built and configured upon the internet. Hosted on the companies 'webside server' to give individualised location specific services to the public on their personal mobiles at numerous locations i.e. Hotels, Restaurants, Retail Shops, Shopping Centers, Railways Stations, Airports, Cinema Multiplexes, Conference and Exhibition Centers and so on.

From small to large, every place where the public are, can become a selling access point for your business, or a public service provided by you to encourage patrons to visit your location.

 

Location specific services

The location, YOUR LOCATION, can promote itself through the network, providing useful direct services to all the mobile users in the vicinity. Screens are tailored to fit the access device, enabling small mobile screens to operate the service easily.

Unlike ordinary hotspots the Public DataWeb provides a customised gateway entrance to the Internet. This means that the services at the location can be focused upon the locations assets facilities and services. 
 

The services provided are live and current and can be used as a broadcast messaging system to inform the public about events, special offers, even emergency messages, instantly all across the location.

Wireless hubs are built into our kiosks or they can be entirely separate systems, our view is to combine each system, kiosk, mobile, wireless into a cohesive public service of benefit to the location, the service provider and the public, in a system that benefits everyone.

RFID  
 
Radio Frequency Identification (TAGS)

Adding RFID options into the Public DataWeb WiFi MESH service provides methods of navigating the city streets e.g. for disabled and blind persons. For locating people/ lost children at public locations (i.e. Theme Parks).

For 'embedding' tourist and travel information details into points in the city, museums, and other public locations such as points of interest in nearby lamp-posts, wayfinder posts, bus stops, street furniture etc 

WiFi enabled mobiles can be tuned/ activate via the Public DataWeb MESH software layer to provide such services.

 
CCTV  
 

Security camera images can be fed into the PDWeb WiFi MESH system and displayed at secure locations, even viewed upon mobiles. This system (WiFi enabled devices required) uses the same Wireless infrastructure, with our additional security control and display features. It is a far less costly option for City CCTV than current methods of digging up streets to lay cables. The service will provide mobility of CCTV to retailers/security personnel etc.
